- Progress report on NPERC-J/FS research in FY 2019 and NPERC-J/FS research plan in FY 2020 were presented.
- NPERC-J Academia members introduced their research results using competitive research funds up to FY 2019, and their proposals for competitive research funds from FY 2019 to FY 2020.
Through these activities, NPERC-J promotes the sharing of research results in non-competitive and pre-competitive areas within NPERC-J and open innovation by utilizing external competitive funds.

In addition to lectures from Prof. Hirohito Yamada of Tohoku University and Prof. Noriyuki Miyazaki of the Kitakyushu Environmental Electronics Institute, there was lively discussion on the power electronics of 2025.
NPERC-J establishment workshop (1st) held [Open to public]

The vision for the activities of NPERC-J’s “Toward Green Electronics Creation,” business philosophy, members, and future activities were introduced. In addition, lectures were given by guest speakers Prof. D. Boroyevich and Dr. L. Lorenz, respectively of CPES of America and ECPE of Europe, who are entered into a partnership agreement with NPERC-J.
International partnership agreement signed (May 26, 2015)
NPERC-J, together with CPES of America and ECPE of Europe, who have a record of excellence in the same areas as NPERC-J, entered into an international partnership agreement. The aim is to complement each other in future activities.
